The orange juice was very small for the price. The hungry man special was tasty and the service was good. The toast was very hard and dry though. Generally good impression

Great food and service with reasonable prices.

Walked in, felt like an old time luncheonette. Was greeted with a smile. Place was slammed. Was seated within two minutes. Menus are typical Jersey diner menus, albeit abbreviated. But enough on there for anyone to find something. I ended up getting a burger. Fresh and hand packed. Lettuce was clean and crisp. Tomatoe slices (two thick ones) were red and juicy. It was just short of amazing. And it was not the fault of the place. It was breakfast time so the grills are set at 350° max, vs lunch when they go to 375°. Can get that perfect sear at that temp. Otherwise, fabulous. Coleslaw was outstanding, fine chopped through the buffalo chipper, and just the right amount of sugar. Everything I saw come out of that open kitchen was generously portioned. Service was super friendly, prompt, extremely attentive, and never made me feel rushed. Would definitely recommend to ANYONE. Especially those on vacation wanting great food at fair prices, go there. Try the specials.

Good, cheap breakfast and fast service, but I went off summer season.

It's an old school diner and absolutely nothing wrong with that. Gyros - like from Queens - that were hard to find, but not anymore.

Good covid measures, I felt safe eating outside there. Husband said it was the best Gyro he ever had...I can't complain either bc the grilled cheese I ordered was absolutely perfect in every way.

Good people and food is amazing

While just an intimate small restaurant with typical diner fare, it had a few things that set it apart. Everyone in the restaurant was friendly and most were clearly regulars which is a good sign. The server treated us like family and was very attentive. The kitchen is open so you can see exactly what is going on and the food is a bit above average. Will definitely be coming back.

I love this place so much. I visit Belmar on weekends from NYC during summer and I honestly look forward to coming to Acropolis. Classic diner food at cheap prices and everyone there is so friendly. Cash only, but there is an ATM inside.

This little hole in the wall is easily one of the best restaurants in the area. Super good food, great staff, great menu, great prices. You won't regret coming here . This diner is a staple of the town .

Very popular Deli Greek influence. Staff very knowledgeable and helpful. Definitely a local Institution. Be sure to try the egg salad. They have a nice little twist on it.

Best breakfast ever. Perfect eggs over easy sausage and hash browns. Perfect service. Coffee never ran out. Beautiful flowers out front with real cafe feel.

Good Greek Dinner, will be there again.

Nice old style diner. Food was good, large portions. Place is small and filled up at lunch time so it got a little noisy. Menu had a lot of options. I had a gyro, it was very good and packed with meat, large portion of fries on the side. We both got soup and a sandwich and the bill was under $20. Our waitress did disappear for awhile (she was outside talking with someone for quite some time) but other than that I enjoyed this place and will visit again.

Wonderful local diner that is truly the place to go to if you're looking to get a deliciously filling breakfast. They have both indoor and outdoor seating, and their food is consistently fantastic. The only thing you have to worry yourself over is trying to decide what it is that you want to eat!
